INSPIRING YOUNG READERS THROUGH STORYTELLING
Ashley Mangione recently had the pleasure of visiting local school children to share readings from several DLP books, including The Voice in My Head, The Boat...A story About Friendship, and Lizzy In a Tizzy.
Through her lively storytelling and interactive discussions, Ashley aimed to inspire students to discover both the joy of reading and the power of imagination.
“Ashley wants children to know that stories can be both an escape and a way to better understand themselves,” she explained during the visit. “When they see characters face challenges or explore new worlds, it helps them realize their own potential.”

SHARING AT THE 2024
INTERNATIONAL ADHD CONFERENCE
Ashley Mangione was honored to be invited as an author at the 2024 International ADHD Conference in Anaheim, California, where she signed copies of her books Lizzy in a Tizzy and The Voice in My Head.
Lizzy in a Tizzy tells the story of a spirited young girl who struggles to focus as her mind races in many directions, often leaving her feeling overwhelmed. Through heartwarming storytelling, the book highlights Lizzy’s challenges while also celebrating her creativity, energy, and unique way of seeing the world.
The themes of the book resonated strongly with the ADHD community, sparking conversations about understanding, compassion, and embracing the strengths that come with thinking differently.
