The Differences!
Differences between Life-Coaching and Tutoring!
Coaching and Tutoring are not the same thing, although depending on the needs and skills of a person, they can and do complement each other. Both are a process, and neither are typically just quick fixes.

Tutoring focuses on teaching content and building skills within a core subject. In this company, that means skilled Reading/ELA instruction, which encompasses phonics, comprehension, writing, and everything in between. We work with students on phonics, comprehension, fluency, writing, kindergarten readiness, EOG preparation, Executive Functioning skills, confidence, enrichment, and support. We meet the students where they are and build skills and foundations to continue their growth.
EDUCATOR | LIFE COACH
Coaching focuses on how to navigate opportunities or challenges to reach goals and independence. Coaches work on current problematic behavior to improve them and gain greater self-reliance and awareness. An academic or life-coach provides the systems to help students, teens, college-age, and adults learn and implement core skills, such as Executive Functioning skills, that assist in helping academic or work-based performance holistically. Our coaching specialties include ADHD and other hidden disabilities, Parenting, and Executive Functioning skills as well as personal and relational development. A parenting coach comes alongside parents as he or she navigates the challenges and rewards of raising children.

Whatever your desire and needs, you can rest assured that when we partner together, you are joining with a person and a company who is skilled, experienced, compassionate, and supportive. No one should ever feel like they must journey alone, and you won’t have to do so either when working with Dynamic Learning Connection!
* All services offered virtually and in-person.
Differences between Life-Coaching and Therapy!
Therapy focuses on mental health and emotional healing, while life-coaching focuses on setting and achieving goals. A therapist may focus on the reasons for a client’s behavior and thought process based on history, whereas a life-coach will focus on how to overcome obstacles to reach a client’s goals and pursue greater potential. Life-coaches collaborate with the client to sustain progress toward the goal/s and to build greater self-awareness and accountability. Life-coaches help to uncover what a client needs to succeed and guide one towards the goal.

Our goal is to empower our clients to reach their goals and to motivate and facilitate growth. Our primary specialty is working with academic goals, life transitions, hidden disabilities and families impacted and affected by them, and strengthening Executive Functioning skills.
